Do you love Rose, Vanilla or Jasmin
When you buy a new perfumes do you shop what you know? Do you shop by brand? Do you shop by the look and feel of the bottle? We all have our own way of choosing a new fragrance, but identifying your favourite notes and choosing these might prove the best way. If Rose, Vanilla or Jasmine are among your favourite notes we have selected some of our top flower power favourites for you to try.
ROSE
The rose is a real classic, it is delicate but captivating. The rose scent can be paired with other flower scents to make it more romantic or it can be combined with a something like jasmine to make it more seductive.
If rose is your favourite note try Paul Smith Rose (similar to Chloe by Chloe must much better priced). Paul Smith Rose is a perfect spring scent. The combination of magnolia and Turkish Rose makes it a very luxurious fragrance.
It comes in 30ml Edp or 100ml Edp.
Tea Rose is a bit overpowering when you spray it but it dries down to a pure rose scent. It is strong and has longevity and is very well priced. We stock the 125ml.
If you like young fresh fragrance that combines five rose scents then try Very Irresistible from Givenchy. It comes in a 75ml Edt or 75ml Edp.
Ghost the fragrance combines Rose and Vanilla and comes across powdery and soft. A well balanced beautiful fragrance and one that is very hard to find. We stock Ghost the Fragrance in a 100ml Edt.
JASMINE
Jasmine fragrances burst with sex appeal which makes them ideal for evening fragrances.
One of our most popular fragrances is Elie Saab Le Parfum. Described as an intensely feminine fragrance, it is full of jasmine, patchouli, cedar, orange blossom, and rose honey. We stock Elie Saab in 50ml Edp and 100ml Edp.
No Jasmine perfume list would be complete without mentioning Shalimar by Guerlain. Shalimar is a real classic and has been around for nearly 90 years. Shalimar has an intense Jasmin heart, followed by opoponax and rose. Shalimar comes in 50ml or 90ml edp as well as 30ml or 90ml edt.
We also stock the 90ml Shalimar refil spray bottle for the customers that have the classic Guerlain gold containers.
Another real classic is Joy from Jean Patou. Like Shalimar, Joy has stood the test of time. Joy is considered by many to be the best Jasmine fragrance of all times. A mix of Jasmin, Musk and Sandalwood Joy is best worn in the evening or on cooler days.
VANILLA
Vanilla is a natural aphrodisiac. It is flirty and seductive and most love a vanilla fragrance.
DKNY Pure Vanilla is lighter than most vanilla fragrances. It is clean, fresh and has a soft scent of vanilla. We stock DKNY Pure in a 100ml Edp. The is the fragrance that used to be called DKNY Pure.
Although the name is a bit misleading, Hugo Boss Orange is also a beautiful vanilla fragrance. It combines orange blossom with creamy vanilla to create a passionate and slightly wild fragrance. We stock boss orange in 75ml Edt.
Dior Addict is a beautiful daytime vanilla fragrance. It is a vanilla, rose and mandarin fragrance that dazzles on the skin once it settles. We stock Dior Addict in 100ml Edt.
If you want the vanilla scent to dominate we recommend the Serge Lute’s Un Bois Vanilla. This is vanilla that lasts and lasts, and with a bit of coconut coming through too. We stock Un Bois Vanilla in a 50ml Edp.
