Laurent is a French Fashion Designer who started his career at only 17 years of age. Gaining previous experience from the one and only Dior Fashion House. At the age of 21, four years after the passing of Dior, Laurent took the role to become head of the Dior Fashion House. Laurent lost his dream job in the 1960's.

After a short recovery period, he started his own fashion company named "Yves Saint Laurent." Resulting in one of the most iconic, powerful fashion houses today. YSL lines dominated the 1960s and 70s era with the designs of his tailored women's suits. YSL created its first fragrance, Y for Women, successfully in 1964 and now celebrates more than 180 perfumes in 2017
