This composition is formed around a central duet of Musk and Aoud, where a delicate note of Rose de Mai is made dry and natural by an abundance of woods and mosses. A rich and sensual base of Tonka Bean and Ambrette fused with leather-like Labdanum heightens the aphrodisiacal nature of one of perfumery’s most legendary materials – Musk.
Totally unexpected and yet utterly compulsive, Musk Aoud pays homage to tradition whilst creating its own distinct path forward.
Top notes are Bergamot and Lemon; middle notes are Rose, Jasmine and Ylang-Ylang; base notes are Musk, Agarwood (Oud), Leather, Ambrette (Musk Mallow), Birch, Precious Woods, Vanilla, Tonka Bean, Sandalwood, Nutmeg and Oakmoss.
